Design philosophy
For most people, designing and building a dream home is a once in a life time opportunity. Graeme endeavours to guide his clients smoothly through the design and construction process, combining his vision with the client’s personality and requirements to unlock maximum value and create homes with their own unique character. Rather than working with one particular “style” , he rather seeks to create projects that match the client’s lifestyle, and have a timeless, elegant quality. Even though the architectural style may be modern and contemporary, or classic and traditional, good design principles are still required to create elegant spaces, proportions, textures and scale. |

Green Architecture
Creating energy efficient and environmentally friendly buildings is becoming increasingly important to Graeme. South Africa provides the ideal climate to produce buildings that require minimal energy consumption. Through smart design and use of appropriate materials and technologies, buildings can be optimized to reduce life time running costs, and the dependence on external resources such as Eskom or municipal utilities. “Green” architecture and design is evolving from a luxury to a necessity. |
